For more than 25 years, Dr. Robert Biswas-Diener has been at the forefront of positive psychology, studying topics such as happiness, hospitality, strengths, and friendship. He is widely regarded as one of the pioneers of positive psychology coaching and has shaped the field through his research, teaching, and global influence.

 

Dr. Biswas-Diener is the author of nine books, including The Upside of Your Dark Side (2014), Positive Provocation (2023), and Radical Listening (2025). He trains coaches through Positive Acorn and serves as visiting faculty in Singapore and Australia. In 2023, Thinkers50 named him one of the 50 most influential executive coaches in the world. He currently lives in Portland, Oregon.
